The Eleventh Overseas High-level Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Forum and the signing ceremony of the fourth “3551 Talents Program” of the East Lake High-tech Zone were held at Wuhan Science and Technology Convention and Exhibition Center on the afternoon of Jun. 27. Dr. Liu Rong, President of HC Semitek, received the project funding, making it the third time that HC Semitek’s technical talents are selected for the program.

The “3551 Talents Program” is a special talent funding program for the East Lake national independent innovation demonstration zone to strengthen the construction of the national “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base for Overseas High-level Talents” and implement the “Special Zone of Talents” strategy, with a view to training and gathering outstanding innovative talents, especially industry leaders and transforming the East Lake National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone into a gathering area of innovation and entrepreneurship for global high-end talents. Since the implementation of the “3551 Talents Program” in Feb. 2009, Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone has prepared a slew of supporting policies to attract overseas high-level talents. “3551 Talents Program” has been launched four times to date. Prior to Dr. Liu Rong, Dr. Wei Shizhen and Dr. Wang Jiangbo of HC Semitek were selected for the program.
